With David Byas at the helm we have a talented team of qualified and professional coaches, some still playing the game at a senior level.
Founder of Byas Academy - David Byas is a top domestic cricket coach and former Yorkshire county cricket captain.
Paul Shaw - Former England Women's Performance Coach and Staffordshire County player, currently working with the ECB delivering coaching seminars and workshops.
Paul is a former England U17/19 player and Yorkshire seamer and since retiring has held the position of Head Coach to the Swedish Cricket Federation. The left hander coaches our Summer Residential Camps.
Will is a current Warwickshire County player, a former Yorkshire player and represented England as an U19 player.
James is a former Yorkshire, Essex and Northampton All Rounder and joins us for the first time in 2018
Jonny is a Yorkshire cricket player who has also represented England in the U19 team.
Jack is a Yorkshire cricket player and we are delighted that he is part of the Byas Academy Coaching team.
Ben is a former Pocklington School 1st XI wicketkeeper and has been a Byas Academy Cricket Coach for the past 4 years.
Jonny has worked with Leicester Tigers, North of England U15 and U18 Ladies Rugby Teams and is currently involved with Yorkshire Carneige. Jonny supports all of our Residential Camps with his expert knowledge in the field of Strength and Conditioning.
Charlie is a Level 2 coach having previously coached East Yorkshire. He represented Yorkshire U15, is a former Pocklington School 1st XI captain and has worked for Byas Academy for the last 3 years.
Henry is a former Yorkshire Age Group Coach as well as working at Pocklington School with David Byas.
Georgia has a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and is a qualified UKSCA Youth Strength and Conditioning coach having recently been heavily involved in working with the professional cricket players of Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Georgia is also an accomplished middle-distance athlete having competed at county, regional and national level.
